SubC Imaging DBW-5 winch
The SubC Imaging DBW-5 is configured to handle SubC’s Tow Camera System with up to 436m of SubC’s 9mm video cable.
Standard features on this winch include:

- Levelwind to facilitate even cable winding for more predictable winch performance and better cable life
- Bearings with thermoplastic housings and stainless steel inserts improved corrosion resistance and reduced weight vs the default painted cast iron housings and steel inserts
- Speed knob + FWD/REV direction switch controls integrated into KBRC-240D motor controller, which can be unmounted from winch and used like a wired remote controller from up to 20m away
- One-way drum ratchet + sprocket-assisted manual backup auxiliary drivetrain for easier manual recovery of heavy payload

- Tension limiting friction slip clutch integrated into main sprocket drivetrain
- Stainless steel 1000lb utility brake winch mounted on top of DBW-5 w/ 30m of Dyneema rope for assisting in launch and recovery of payload between deck and water
