Studying seafloor ecosystems with a CSW-7

NOAA researchers used a CSW-7 to deploy a camera system to study seafloor terrain and ecosystems in Alaska.  Observational work like this is important for informing conservation and resource-management efforts for vulnerable fish populations; in this case, rockfish, which the NOAA researchers noted to thrive in seafloor areas with plenty of structure to hide in and around.
