RJW-1 manual/servo mini winch
The RJW-1 is a compact, lightweight, collapsible, portable winch perfect for shallow water marine operations. It mounts to a pedestal so it can be used on the edge of a dock or fixed in a small boat or dinghy for versatility in research locations.
It can be configured as either a purely manual winch that can be hand-cranked or driven with a drill, or as an electric winch with a small servo motor and chain drivetrain for more power.
This unit is completely assembled and ready for purchase.
Features on this winch include:
-
- Pedestal for mounting the winch
- Folding extendable cable guide sheave wheel
- Rolling trundle transportation wheels
- Bearings with thermoplastic housings and stainless steel inserts
- One-way drum ratchet + sprocket-assisted manual backup auxiliary drivetrain for easier manual recovery of heavy payload
- Can be optionally outfitted with a slip ring if needed, depending on slip ring requirements
The servo-drive configuration includes:
-
- Electric servo-motor drivetrain with built-in holding brake
The manual-drive configuration includes:
-
- One-way drum ratchet to prevent drum unwinding during hand cranking
- Hand crank + drill-drive adapter
