A.G.O. is pleased to accept requests for hydraulically powered oceanographic winches. These larger winches are designed for greater cable capacity, load capacity and line speed than our CSW series winches. As a sales agent, A.G.O. will assist you with your winch requirements and will provide the same pricing available directly from the manufacturer.

The manufacturer of these winches is based in British Columbia, Canada and has many years of experience designing, building and repairing hydraulic winches. Pictured to the right is an example of a hydraulic winch delivered to a US based customer last year. This oceanographic winch has 38 inch flanges and a capacity of 6,850 ft of 0.5" cable with 2" free flange. The rated mid drum pull is 6,800 lb at 1 m/s. Most requirements can be met with field proven off-the-shelf designs.

Level winds are standard on most designs. As these winches are completely built to order, lead times are more substantial than with A.G.O. manufactured CSW winches. Customization of designs is available. Please contact us for more information.
