We offer several models within our CSW series winches with the CSW-6 being the smallest and the CSW-7 the largest:

CSW-6 WinchCSW-6 - two person portable winch designed for lifting and lowering small instrumentation payloads and towed body operations. It has proven to be a versatile winch which may be used in almost any application. This model is typically used for shallow-water (< 200 meters) CTD and side scan sonars.

CSW-7 WinchCSW-7 - designed for use in oceanographic and geophysical research. This four person portable model is capable of lifting and lowering most moderate instrumentation payloads.
CSW-6 WinchCSW-9 - two to four person portable winch designed for lifting and lowering small to moderate instrumentation payloads and towed body operations. It has proven to be a versatile winch which may be used in almost any application. This model is typically used for shallow-water operations with heavier loads or large diameter cable.

CSW-8 WinchCustom Winch Applications - A.G.O. can design any winch within the limits of our mechanical components to suit your custom application. Past examples have included a lightweight battery operated capstan winch for hauling in sensor anchored buoy ropes, winches with large hollow axles for fibrer-optic slip rings and winches for positioning aerostat balloons. We have nearly twenty historical designs and many more custom modifications in our repertoire and the creativity to design for most small winch custom applications.
