Incorporated
in 1986, A.G.O. Environmental Electronics manufactures equipment used in the
geophysics and oceanographic industries. The company's electronics division
is responsible for the design and construction of subsea instrumentation and
support electronics, while the mechanical division is responsible for the construction
of winches and mechanical components. A.G.O. is also a representative
for 3H Manufacturing Inc., General Oceanics, Nobska, and SIS GMbH. These representations,
combined with A.G.O.’s own line of products, allow A.G.O. to present a broad
line of equipment and services.

Project
A.G.O. is the
supplier of the servo controlled winches for the Large Adaptive Reflector/Square
Kilometer Array project. This international project involves building the world's
largest steerable radio telescope. It will have 100 times the sensitivity of
current radio telescopes.
Joint Ventures
A.G.O. Environmental
Electronics conducts research and development on projects of interest originated
by its founder, James R. Harrington. Mr. Harrington, the president of A.G.O.,
has extensive experience designing and field-testing a wide range of equipment
and instrumentation used in astrophysics, geophysics, and oceanographics.
