Compact Winches

A.G.O.'s compact winches are designed to be easily portable and are ideal for light loads such as drop cameras, lightweight CTD profiling systems and line management duties.

PID-02 Compact Winch

With a sturdy welded aluminum tubular frame and drum, the PID-02 winch is easy to transport in small boats and in small aircraft.  These winches are available with several powering options, including:

• Manual drives with two-speed or three-speed gearboxes
• Auxiliary gas or electric drill adaptor for the manual drive gearboxes
• 12/24 VDC or 90/180 VDC electric motor drive system

The PID-02 can be fitted with many different gearbox and chain ratios and drum flange and core diameters to best suit the application. To this end, we require the following information when specifying a PID-02 winch:

• cable size, length and type
• load weight
• desired line speed (if important)

PID-02 winches include disc brakes and shear pin locks for control of the deployed cable, plus carrying handles for transporting the winch. The PID-02 includes a drilled main shaft and drum allowing the addition of various slip ring models, including the AGO-SR06 and Hangzhou Prosper models sold by A.G.O.
