Video Crab Trap System

A.G.O.’s subsea video crabbing system consists of a custom camera cage, high resolution underwater video camera, and optionally, lights and lasers. This system enables the user to:

view crabs attracted to the bait in a standard star trap
use a star trap in deeper water and still see the crabs
have a lot of fun

Fun? Yes, it is a lot of fun! Watching the antics of the crabs feeding is very amusing. Catching legal size crabs more readily is just an added bonus.

Optional lasers aid in sizing, sex determination and species identification.
